The 2024 NBA Finals will feature a battle between a championship favorite and an underdog led by arguably the best player in the league.

After navigating their way through the NBA Playoff bracket, the Celtics and Mavericks will collide in what should be a thrilling championship series. Boston defeated Miami, Cleveland and Indiana on its way to the NBA Finals, while the Mavs eliminated the Clippers, Thunder and Timberwolves in order to secure their berth.

The Celtics have been dominant throughout the regular season and playoffs, compiling a 76-20 record and establishing themselves as the team to beat. They managed to win the previous two rounds without Kristaps Porzingis, who is expected to return for the NBA Finals after dealing with a calf injury.
